Rest day ko na naman and syempre go na naman ako sa movie theaters to relax and see a movie. Reward ko na sa sarili ko ang manood ng sangkaterbang pelikula every week after ng matinding pagdurusa sa loob ng apat na araw exhausting all my precious brain cells taking calls.

*whew*

5:30 pm
So there I was nakapila for my first movie for the week sa SM Megamall.

Cinema 3: Anacondas, The Hunt for the Blood Orchid

synopsis:
Scientists discovered an orchid that can help prolong life. Apparently, this orchid only blooms for six months once every seven years. Now these scientists only have less than two weeks to catch these blood orchids situated in the tropical forests of Borneo (the movie was actually shot in Fiji). The team consists of six scientists and two local boatsmen. This movie is like playing that game snakes and ladders, the more snakes you encounter the more delayed you will be in reaching your goal. It's mating season in the snake kingdom so what do you expect. Horny anacondas going for the kill. This movie is sooooo nakakadiri but since thats what they want to achieve in this movie, I think the director was able to do a good job on this one compared to the first Anaconda a couple of years back.

Ok after one and a half hours of kadiri-ness...go naman ako sa Cinema 6 for my next movie.

Cinema 6: Connie and Carla

synopsis:
Connie and Carla are two dinner theater performers on the run. They used the same story line as The Sister Act starring Whoopi Goldberg a couple of years back (hiding as a nun under the witness protection program) but this time instead of hiding as a nun, they're hiding as drag queens. A gay movie featuring real women in drag is absolutely fantastic.

The movie is such a drag, pun intended So i liked it. Its a nice transition after Anacondas...in Anaconda, the characters are all muddy and sweaty..in Connie and Carla everyone is covered in heavy make-up and glittering ball gowns. Fun!

I'm supposed to head home apparently, accross Cinema 6 is Cinema 1 where CineEuropa is currently being shown. Cine Europa feature movies from Europe (duh!). Luckily, the movie being featured last night is free and its entitled Deadline (from Sweden). So off we go!

Cinema 1: Deadline

The movie is about the life of a police beat/crime editor journalist/reporter named Annika. If you wanna know how it feels to be Jessica Soho, you better watch this film. It's brilliantly executed. There's humor, action, drama, wit and nudity in this film which makes it so close to reality. With actors this good, you can never go wrong.
Highly recommended.

Kahapon ay nabagabag ng husto ang aking kaloob-looban dahil nakarinig ako ng isang komento na below the belt ang chervaness against my meantime friend. Shock to the max ang drama ko, apparently crush ko ang nagbitiw ng comment na sobrang turn-off ang arrive. Well, wala akong nagawa kungdi ang ngumiti na lamang at mag-pretend na wala akong narinig. Ngunit buong araw akong windang at balisa dahil hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat kong maramdaman at kung ano ang dapat kong ikilos. Na-offend ako to the highest-level for my friend. Buti na lang at sobrang cool ng friend kong 'yon na I know na tatawanan lang nya ang karumal-dumal na comment na 'yon

Sa Piling ng Dyosa at Gulaman

Ipinagdiwang namin ang kaarawan ng Dyosa noong ika-9 ng Setyembre sa lungsod ng Taguig. She claims to be the goddess of love and beauty bagamat kamukha nya si Siddharta Gautama Buddha kaya from Friday afternoon hanggang Saturday night eh lumalamon kami.... gulaman (lychee flavor), tuna spaghetti, gulaman (langka flavor), tinurbong manok, gulaman (strawberry flavor), inihaw na bangus at pork chop, macaroni fruit salad, puto at pitchi-pitchi, pansit bihon, gulaman (strawberry-langka flavor) etc..etc... busog kung busog at lamon kung lamon ang labanan...matira matibay ang drama naming dalawa... actually, konti lang ang dumating sa birthday nya kaya obligado kaming ubusin lahat ng pagkain sa lalong madaling panahon dahil mapapanis ang mga ito. Hindi lang pala ang kawalan ng tawiran ang nakamamatay Mr. Fernando... pati rin ang sobrang kabusugan.

Kinabukasan pag-uwi ko sa lalawigan ng Rizal, pagkain na naman ang dinatnan ko dahil 4 year wedding-anniversary pala ng aking kapatid na si Charity Ramos. Congratulations! So what else is new...lamon to death na naman syempre ang drama ko. Grabe....nakakapagod din pala ang magpakabusog....but i'm not complaining....just keep'em cumming!

It's my last day of work today (for the week that is) and i'm off to another 3 days of pleasure I've been in the office for 3 days and 2 nights 'coz I hate being late in the morning so I'd rather camp here at Philam Oh well, I'm excited to reunite with Loowee this friday for the return of the comeback of our friday weekly movie chervaness thingy we'll be watching Feng Shui. But I will suggest to have a movie marathon....on the list are Raising Helen and Resident Evil! I can't wait....

Finally my favorite has finally come to an end. Married Chip and Kim were declared the winners for this season of the show. I was voting for the Bowling Moms but unfortunately they were eliminated here in the Pillfeens I remembered my favorite team Reichen and Chip winning the race last year and I actually cried knowing that they were both gay and very much in love and they actually won the race. I'm doing my regular shift at the time the show was aired and was absolutely static upon hearing the good news. I just love this show so much I can't wait for the 6th season! Kudos to The Amazing Race. By the way, this show also won an Emmy last week

I was able to catch the pilot episode of last week at studio 23 and I must say, Brady is such a hottie I failed to see it this week but I'll try my best to catch it next week. To be honest I'm not really a big fan of Survivor because I find it too negative for my taste.

The first time I saw this show I thought that its a great idea because people will actually see how models are. How they look like without make up, what do they eat, what do they do to have that beautiful body and basically how they are when they're not doing the catwalk. I was not dissapointed at all watching the show from one episode to the other because it's so exciting seeing these girls compete against each other plus the fact that they show fabulous clothing every week and a lot of skin This girl by the way is the one who captured my heart that's Shandi.
