Malubak ang byahe. Feeling ko any moment ay malalaglag ako dito sa aking kinasasadlakan. Araw-araw akong nag babyahe pero 'di ko naman alam ang aking pupuntahan. Ano bang nangyayari? Ang hirap naman ng ganito. Hindi mo na nga alam kung saan ka pupunta o kung may mapupuntahan ka nga tapos pangit pa ang daan. *sigh* Nababato na ako. I saw Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban last Thursday and Friday. Yes, I saw it twice and I'm planning on watching it again. Contrary to what my officemates said, I actually find the movie far better than the first two installments. I haven’t read the book yet so I cannot say if the movie is really a disaster but based on what I saw, the movie is really good. The screenplay is ok but I like the effects most of all (as usual).
Sabi nung mga officemates ko na mga naglalakihan ang tiyan at mga true-blue fanatic ni Harry ay sobrang pangit daw nung pelikula. Sabi din nung ibang mga hitad eh hindi raw sinunod yung sequence (hindi siguro nag rejoice si Cuaron) at marami raw tinanggal na kailangan talaga as in essential and integral parts na dapat ay nandun nga sa movie. Yung iba naman over kung mag comment at ang sabi ay binaboy daw ni Alfonso yung gawa ni Rowling. Asus!!!!
(kaya nga may screenplay dah bah!)
Anu-ano nga ba ang mga nagustuhan ko sa Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban at naulit ko sya ng dalawang beses? Halika at samahan nyo ako sa isang kagila-gilalas na paglalakbay sa mundo ng mga mambabarang!!!!

Buod:
Simple lang naman ang kwento ng buhay ni Harry. Imikot ang pelikula sa isang bilanggo na nakatakas sa kulungan ng mga witches na kung tawagin ay Azkaban. Lahat ay nag-aakala na ang nakatakas na bilanggo na ito ay tumakas upang patayin si Harry. So syempre marami munang nangyari bago sila nagtagpo para umabot sa climax yung movie dah bah tulad ng paglalaro ng Quidditch habang may bagyo, ang pag-aaral ng Ridiculus, ang pag sakay sa isang mythical creature at ang pagtuklas ng iyong kapalaran sa pamamagitan ng tea leaf (eto yung tungkol sa Grimm). Pero syempre dun din ang bagsak nun at nagkita nga sila ni Sirius Black a.k.a. Ang Prisoner ng Azkaban. At ang maganda rito ay nalaman ni Harry na ito palang si Sirius ay kanyang ninong. So syempre confrontation at revelation ang sumunod na eksena hanggang sa natapos na sya.

Tagpuan:
Mas maganda ang setting ng Harry Potter 3 kasi umupa talaga ng tunay na castle ang mga producers. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ngayon lang nila naisip ito pero effective sya. Mas nagging cozy yung movie pero medyo eerie kasi panay dark at gloomy scenes ang maaalala mo. Sa simula pa lang naipakita na kung gaano ka-dynamic ang cinematography kasi first time na lumabas si Harry sa kanilang neighborhood sa mundo ng mga muggles (at muntik na nga syang mapahamak). Pinakita rin ang streets of London at ang itsura ng forest sa umaga, maging ang labas ng Hogwarts ay pinakita rin. Pati ang change of season ay mainam na naipamalas sa mga manunood.

In the beginning.....

This is my 18th entry and I think that its just about time I give a history of my not so interesting blog. (wow feeling debutant)
This blog was created for the sole purpose of me expressing my not so interesting yet loveable insane thoughts. My good friend Darkwinter encouraged me to create this page. (so siya ang sisihin nyo!) for me to unleash my creativity in writing (as if)
*sigh*

When I'm constructing this page, no color seems to fit my mood thats why I just used this plain-virginal spermatic white background color. (the layouts name is Shattered Glass-named after the movie)
I've tried to alter the layout a couple of weeks ago with the help of my goddess friends Darkwinter and Autumn Star. This alteration divirginized my tabulas (oh gosh!) which made the page somehow hip but eventually I gave it up because the background pic annoys me terribly. I'm still looking for the right background pic to use that will match my ever changing mood. So the hunt continues......

The icon I'm using for every entry is taken from Regine Velasquez' album Drawn. The same picture also served as the albums original cover when it was released almost seven years ago. Nowadays, you'll see her own face as the album cover after its re-release. I'm using it as the official icon for this page to show the world my eternal devotion for this majestic diva.
The picture icon on the right side was taken last January as my picture ID for this company I'm currently working for. (Hindi yan member ng Star Circle Quest, ako yan talaga, hihihihihi)
The White Wizard/Dragon icon I'm using for commenting on the other hand was taken from a pop quizz "Which dragon are you?".

The title Small Wonders is inspired by the song of the same title included in the album Happy Nowhere by Dogs Eyeview, circa 1995. (a favorite of mine)

And finally, the name Adonis Estrada.
I came up with this name to create a whole new identity for myself on the internet. I call it my Online Presence. I like the last name Estrada but I don't want to be associated with anything or anyone in line with politics so I need to come up with a first name that will completely give the perfect balance to the character I want to manifest. I came up with Adonis because I find it unique and equally strong which somehow gives balance to the name Estrada. So with these in mind, Adonis Estrada was born. I was told by a friend that this name is absolutely stupid and I agree with her completely. Its a crazy name indeed and as a matter of fact I find it silly but hey I did not made this name to appear cool or intelligent or even sexy for that matter. ('coz it sounds like a porn stars screen name) Basta gusto ko lang yung name tapos!
I received a lot of questions about this name and I can't understand the fascination. Recently, i've realized that the name Adonis connotes male beauty to the highest level!!!! (oo nga ano! bakit ngayon ko lang naiisip 'yon?)
Thus the disgust of everyone.

I went to the opening of the Pink Festival last Tuesday in SM Megamall and the first film to be featured is Eating Out by Q. Allan Brocka (nephew of Lino). Nawindang ako sa price but its a fun movie and I really recommend it....I want to do a review about the movie but I think its better if you go check it out for yourselves. Hay naku! Sobrang bored na ako dito sa office.....pero wait! Ano nga ba ang mga palabas na bago for tomorrow? Hmmmmm....wala yata akong alam.
Well, let me just try to do a recap of the films that I saw for the past months....bago ako mag movie marathon these week and the following week and by then showing na ang Spider-Man! Yahoo!!!!


I saw The Chronicles of Riddick laz Thursday and what do you know, I actually liked it!
This movie reminded me of Frank Herberts’s Dune (1984) directed by David Lynch which starred Kyle Mclachlan as Paul Atredies and a young Gordon Sumner a.k.a. Sting as Feyd-Rautha. I loved Dune so it’s no surprise that I also appreciated this one.
I love the costume (absolutely fabulous) plus the fact that Vin Diesel look liked an over used penis in the sauna.

I will not discuss You Got Served here because to be honest there’s really nothing much to review. I watched it because of the dance moves. Great choreography and costumes!

I did not review the movie The Day after Tomorrow because I don't want to elaborate that scientific chervaness about the saltwater effect. Although I admire the scientific research behind the movie, somehow it seems like you are watching one of those Discovery channel Special Feature for the month ! I enjoyed it and I do think it’s a fun movie but its more of a cause and effect type of movie. They focused more on how the world will look like during those times of chaos and mass destruction to the extreme. Sobrang in-exaggerate lang nila yung gustong iparating ng mga environmentalist natin….hehehehehe.. (manakot ba?) Imagine nabura sa mapa ang Pillfeens! Yikes!!!

Pagbabago

Well, I'm feeling bored as ever.....*sigh* Bakit ba palagi na lang akong tinatamad? Ang dami kong gustong gawin pero wala naman akong masimulan.....hay naku lolo!
I'll probably start jogging next week...(wish ko lang matuloy na!).
I am entering a new chapter of my so-called life in about a couple of days...because the old one is about to end...hehehehehe....7 days and counting folks. (ano kaya ang ibig sabihin nun? hmmmm...) For sure marami ng magbabago.
And speaking of pagbabago, meron na tayong pangulo sa wakas. Although hindi siya good news, at least tapos na rin ang paghihintay. Ang dapat na lang nating gawin ngayon ay ang makiisa at kumilos para sa higit na pag-unlad ng ating bayan. (wow! totoo ba 'yan?) Alam ko na marami ang hindi sang-ayon sa resulta ng May 10 elections pero kung pagtatalunan pa natin ito ay malamang umabot pa ito hanggang sa susunod na May 10, 2005.

Medyo malungkot ako (medyo lang) kasi di ako nakapunta sa "A Mid Summer White's Dream" party kagabi. Malakas ang buhos ng ulan sa aming nayon kaya hindi ako nakaluwas ng Maynila upang matunghayan at masaksihan ang mga ligaw na kaluluwa sa Malate. Sayang pero ok lang kasi di ko rin naman makakayanang lumabas ng aming tahanan ng hating gabi habang malakas na bumubuhos ang ulan at ako ay naka white all over dah bah! Hindi bale, meron pa naman sa susunod na taon.

Isa pa sa mga ikinalungkot ko last week ay ang hindi ko paglabas ng bahay nung rest days ko. Wala na kasi akong pera. Hindi tuloy ako nakapanood ng Garfield at ng Volta. Pero have no fear parating na si Mr. Sweldo this week kaya liligaya na naman ang araw ko. hahahahahaha!!!! Spider-Man here I come!

Ilang araw na lang at tapos na rin ang panahon ng dalawampu't lima. Napakarami ng naganap. Hindi ko man lang naramdaman na matagal rin pala ang inilagi nya sa piling ko. Kung alam ko lang na magiging mabilis ang lahat, sana binigyan ko pa ng higit na pagpapahalaga at sigla ang aming pagsasama. Kasama ko sya sa lahat ng kasiyahan at kadramahan ng aking buhay. Ilang araw na lang at lilisan na sya. Iiwan na nya ako. Malungkot. Ang bawat patak ng kanyang luha ay dulot ng napakarami naming pinag daanan at pinagsamahan. Ang kalungkutan ay panandalian lamang dahil alam ko na sa kanyang paglisan ay iiwan naman nya sa'kin ang mga alaala na dadalhin ko habang buhay. Alam ko na masaya rin sya.

May malaking magaganap bago magwakas ang taong ito. Dito iikot ang susunod na mga araw.....sa pagdating nya. Bibilis ang takbo ng pulso, at mag-iiba ang lukso ng dugo. Darating sya na may dalang bagong pag-asa. Tatanggapin ko sya ng buong puso at ng walang pag-aalinlangan. Marami akong sasabihin sa kanya....

......Kung ano man 'yon, abangan na lang natin ang ika-dalawampu't anim na panahon.

Kasabay sa paglipas ng panahon ang paglawak at pag-unlad ng kamalayan ng tao. Sa bawat pag-ikot ng kamay ng orasan, patuloy ang ating pagtuklas sa mga bagong kaalaman. Marami tayong natututunan, kayraming nagbago, marami ang naganap sa ating buhay sa loob ng nakalipas bagamat napakaikling panahon.

Ilang sandali na lang at magwawakas na ang ika-anim na buwan. At sa kanyang pamamaalam dama ko ang kalungkutan subalit taglay ko ang hindi matatawarang karunungan at kaligayahan na kanyang ibinahagi sa akin kahit man lang sa sandali naming pagsasama. Ang kanyang paglisan ay hindi tanda ng dalamhati at pagtangis kundi hudyat ng isa na namang makabuluhang paglalakbay tungo sa pag-unlad. Naway magsilbing inspirasyon ang mga bakas ng kahapon sa ating lahat.
